The UK’s leading designer, manufacturer and installer of high-density storage solutions has hired a new team member to support business growth. Following a surge in enquiries, Rackline has recently recruited Daniel Ball and welcomed back fellow employee Grace Petrovic to support the company on its plans for success.
Loughborough University Graduate, Daniel Ball joined the company as Lead Product Designer in July 2022. In his role, he is responsible for designing new and bespoke storage solutions to offer customers a wide range of products outside of Rackline’s standard manufacturing database.
Discussing his new position, Daniel commented: “I am thrilled to have obtained the role of Lead Product Designer at Rackline. After graduating from University in June, the role has allowed me to gain a lot of experience and utilise my degree. I love that I get to see the storage products through the entirety of their production journey, from CAD design, all the way to installation.
“I have a lot of responsibility which I enjoy. As a new team member, I have the opportunity to improve the processes already in place at Rackline. We are also currently in the process of developing a new range of concepts, which is really exciting!”
Originally joining Rackline 10 years ago, Grace has recently returned to the business in a new role as Sales Executive. Having previously worked as an Installation Manager, Grace offers the company a wealth of knowledge.
Grace’s new responsibilities see her speaking to potential and existing customers, generating quotes and tenders and placing orders. The customer-facing role requires her to spend time on and off-site, and work in a fast-paced environment.
When speaking about her skills, Grace commented: “Rackline have supported me throughout my career. Having initially joined as an apprentice, I have gained an enormous amount of experience in various areas of the company, which now benefits my new role as a sale executive.
“Having worked in multiple departments, I know all of the ins and outs of the processes at Rackline. This makes my knowledge and skills very useful in the development of the company.”
