Rackline has been awarded a place on the ESPO’s Handling Equipment and Steel Shelving Framework (277) for the first time in its history.
This national recognition will help Rackline to expand its offering of racking solutions and storage recommendations in the public sector.
Rackline will be offering specialist advice and products based on different requirements for different public bodies.
The storage experts have identified the public sector growth opportunities as one of the most exciting avenues to explore with this award. It is also looking forward to developing new and existing partnerships through insightful and comprehensive storage consultancy.
A professional buying organisation, ESPO helps to provide a range of goods and services to the public sector. ESPO offers over 120 frameworks offering support, advice, products and services to prospective public sector buyers.
Identified as a key platform for growth by Rackline’s new sales director, Tom Simpson, it submitted an extensive application towards the end of 2023. For the first time ever, the storage provider was successful and secured a place on Framework 227.
On the awarded position, Simpson said: “Being recognised by ESPO for our capabilities within storage for public organisations is a brilliant way to wrap up the first month of 2024.’
With public sector work making up for around half of the sales for Rackline, it is hoping that the ESPO award will be the catalyst to further develop financially and in terms of personnel numbers.
